I dont know if this is the best setup nor do I think so, but thats what use and have used. Without plasma mines I dont have any overweight, and with mines only 22% which doesnt really matter on defence. I used to have gauss/assault rifle as second weapon, but got tired of the overweight.

Infantry:

Im mainly an attacker.... so after I attach to enemy base, I turn IDF off and let my energy reload. Once its full, I turn IDF on and rush to the enemy's base as fast as I can, first throwing my grenades and then shooting bursts with CAW until im dead. The point of this is that I try to break enemys defence lines and hopefully my fellow attacker teammates can take their base down, or at least get abit closer to the flag.

NAME ANYTHING DIFFERENT ABOUT YOUR KEYBOARD CONFIG THAT BETTER YOUR GAMEPLAY:

I have remapped my keys pretty much completely:

s,d,f,g,t,y,h,b are for weapons and equipment
w is map
a and z are sniper view
space is for pick up
I move using numpad: 8,4,5,6
My strafe keys are 7 and 9 on numpad, but I dont use them.
Zero on numpad is 'use'.

HOW IMPORTANT TO YOUR GAMEPLAY IS STRAFING:

I dont strafe.

I use frag and rep grenades... I hardly ever have them when I die so... I use them. :)

Dont use them.

Fun and good teamplay, I love when team really works together.

Dont know if he still plays medic, but total_newbie is/was cool medic.

Hmm... havent really watched people who are infantry, seems like everyone has heavy weapons.

pet virus is doing quite good with JT.

I dont think there really is one, someone is good at something and someone else is good at something else (I love english.. =).
