Part 1: Newbism - Mako
How did you learn about Infantry?
I learned about Infantry after I came back from Basic Training 2 years ago from a friend who had saw a review somewhere. Me and him use to play 24/7 at his house, kinda sad if you ask me.

When did you first play Infantry?
I think it was October 1st, 1999.

Your first alias was?
Mako, of course.

Which zone did you play first?
Beta Zone if I remember, then CTF TP when it first popped up with static spawns. $$

What was your impression when you logged-in for the first time?
I was addicted, being a War Fan and all. ;)

What were your first words in the chats?
My first words were, how the heck do I team chat and public chat. ;)

What was your first class?
Sniper/Commando. People were nice and bought me everything I needed: IC, SSC, PA etc.

How long did it take you to learn how to shoot? To strafe?
Not too long to shoot of course, but strafing was different. I could never figure out how people circle strafed around me. Funny thing was, they'd die mostly since they could only go one way, and I just laughed.

Who was your first friend, and how did you meet him/her?
My first friend(s) was probably H.A.M. and Sniper.Wolf. We were all Commandos and they told me about a lil squad named Marksmen.

Who was your first enemy, and how did you meet him/her?
I'd have to say that Yankee guy! ;) No, my first enemy would have to be zc321.

When did you realize that Infantry was worth playing?
When I first played it.

What else do you remember best of your first days?
How noobieish I was ... ICQ'ing Unit to join SpecOps and other squads like S.W.A.T.
