Part 3: Present Impressions - Gommy
What zones do you play now (or plan to when they are re-released)?
Currently, I play CTF whenever I can, although I would like to play BBX and if I had more time, some Skirmish occasionally.

Which zone is/was your favourite? Why?
I guess it would have to be CTF, as its where I have had the most fun in squad scrimmages.
Map-wise I absolutely love the DM map from ages ago that ljc did. But for CTF the first TP, if only because it holds a lot of good memories, since it was somewhat unbalanced.

What is your primary CTF class at the moment?
Heavy Weapons; it's my only class as well :)

How do you equip your primary CTF class?
-PF Generator, Kevlite Combat Armor, Suit Supercharger, Enhanced Sensors
-RPG, Kuchler PC v2
-Frag Grenades, Bullet Mines, WP Grenades
-and the neccessary ammo for RPG

What tactics or strategies do you use with your primary CTF class?
Use Teleport Beacons lots to avoid street rapes - when we still had em :)
Just find a good spot and aim well with the RPG in pub play at least. In squad play, well, those tactics are a secret.

Have you any advice for those who just began playing your primary CTF class?
Play as much as possible, to get your aim right, and don't worry about dying too much.

What is the biggest change from the Infantry you first played and now?
More weapons slots; it makes gameplay a lot more comfortable.

Do/Did you participate in any other Infantry-related matters? If so, in what capacity?
Nowadays I don't, but I do sometimes post on NMEBase Harmless Opinions, and I was BBXL: Boomball X League Coordinator.

What is your most memorable experience in Infantry?
Hmmm, it's difficult to pinpoint one memorable experience as such, but I would say our match against Shadow Syndicate which we ended up losing was very memorable, as there was a lot of outside interest in it and it was a tense game. That and our game under similar circumstances on TP against S.W.A.T. and Darkslayers. People hype the things so much, it's hard NOT to get into that yourself and think that every shot you make has to be perfect.

If you could change one thing about Infantry, what would it be?
I would make all those people that have a go at people (aka "newbies) for asking sensible questions, if somewhat innocent sometimes, shut up. You can't be a good samaritan constantly when playing, but you don't need to attack people.

What would you rate Infantry on a scale of 1-100 right now?
That's very relative, to certain things: I guess I would give it a 79, although if I'm playing/watching a scrim, it would be 92.
